October has been a good month! I saw some friends, ate a lot of food, and made some pretty serious plans for the future. And a month like this sure could do with a hot drink, a slice of cake (of course), and a good ol’ catch up, don’t you think?
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that my favourite podcast at the moment is No Such Thing As A Fish. It is hilariously witty and full of facts that I am constantly dropping into conversation! It is my favourite podcast to fall asleep to.
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I am going to have to move house again soon. It is a shame as I have really enjoyed living in the city, but circumstances out of my control mean that where I live is no longer available to me. The silver lining of this is that I’ll likely be moving to another city next year anyway, so this gives me an opportunity to save a bit of money and declutter for my new life!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I am currently reading The Mirror World of Melody Black. Gavin Extence blew me away with his debut novel, The Universe VS Alex Woods, so I was excited to pick up something else that he had written.
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I had a wonderful short break in Bristol recently with Neil. I’m fairly familiar with the city, and it was exciting to show Neil some of the things I love about the place.
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I have been watching Full Metal Alchemist, and it is breaking my heart. Oh my goodness, this show is so dark for an anime whose main characters are children.
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that it is a shame that Halloween is falling midweek this year, as I am working both Wednesday and Thursday. However, I have some exciting Halloween plans for this Friday with some friends – we are going to watch some spooky films, play some spooky games, and eat some delicious (probably not so spooky) food. I can’t wait!
If we were having coffee… I would tell you that I have started playing Diablo III. I’ve been playing it one act at a time whenever I’ve got an evening free. It is hard to believe the game came out over half a decade ago, as the graphics are beautiful.
How was your October?
